Sensible idea but hard part is finding time to get them done due to work commitments

Does anyone know if we need photos for lift passes in Bardonnechia? Crystal say yes, Nielsen say no. We fly on Sunday so I want to get it right!!

Thanks for all your advice. I zipped down to the Mall in Bristol and snapped up some decent thermals for the kids from TK Maxx and got myself and the wife a pair from good old BHS. Should do the trick and think it's a wise move as it looks pretty cold out there for the moment!

Am off to Bardonnechia a week today with the wife and 2 kids. I have been skiing twice before but am having a last minute panick about taking the stuff we really need. Now, would it be advisable for the kids (6 & 9) to wear thermals under salopettes? My wife is a stick and really feels the cold in this country so I guess it makes sense for her to wear some. Where can I get some from as with only a week left I don't want to risk ordering some only to let Royal Fail cock up on delivery and find they arrive after we have got to the Alps!
Thanks |

Skiing in Borovets, worried by forum reviews, should I cancel and go to Alpes

I last went to Borovets 9 years ago and although I found the skiing was good, the locals let it down. We stayed in Hotel Samokov and I am afraid to say that ladies of the night were always hanging around in reception. In addition, there was a 'mafia' wedding on one of the days and a friend was actually threatened by a local with a gun on the hotel nightclub dancefloor!!
I thought about taking my two young children but there is no way I would entertain it when I think back to my time there. |
