Hey there,
I've just moved back from Turin and it is a really cool city and easy access to most slopes. there is a bus that goes to sestriere from the corner of Corso Vittorio and Via Sacchi (where the airport coach goes from) and its something like 12E return. the trains at porta nuova will bring you to sauze d'oulx and bardonecchia within about an hour. there's also a bus from porta susa (other train station) to cervinia that takes approx 2hrs. Heading back this weekend for 5 days so hopefully the snow sit will be better. hope this helps, Keith |

hi ken,
I've just moved back to Ireland from Turin and most of the car companies over there will give you chains if you ask for them... at the end of the day they're risking their own car!! I'd say its the same in France the difficult thing is putting them on, I used to stop in garages and ask them to do it for me, its cheap enough and well worth it. hope this helps Keith |
