Pablo Escobar wrote:Well guys, that's it. Game over probably after this weekend (for Glencoe anyways).

Forecast for Saturday 4th April - Overnight rain expected to clear by early morning leaving a fine day with sunny intervals. 20-30mph NW winds.
Runs: Main Basin has good cover of spring snow. Happy Valley is sad unfortunately at the narrows. Spring Run also has good cover down to the top of the Cliffhanger Chair although top traverse is now broken. Rannoch Glades remains skiable but entry is a bit tricky. The Wall also remains skiable but means at walk back to the bottom of the cliffy. NO BEGINNER AREAS.
Argo Taxi will be running across the Plateau (until it Conks Out!!!!!)
ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN ADULT TICKETS £20 - JUNIOR TICKETS £15

I have had 15 or so Scottish skiing days this season all of which have been bloody excellent.

Hopefully next year delivers on the snow front.. this time round it was a bit wet.

Over and out.

Daft Punk drive me crazy

"I'm digging your scene"
One of the worst pop songs ever written, at a time of really bad songs being written. The Blow Monkeys really were utter bilge, along with a lot of what happened post mid 80's musically.

Daft Punk. Hmmmmm. I have no idea what they actually try to achieve with their music, but you cant help but like a lot of it.

Are you a conserative ?, I ask because most of Dr Roberts songs written with the blow Monkeys were Anti Thatcher tunes

I am afraid thats where far too many people go wrong. Yes, old bones heal slower, but not correcting "minor" injuries or making kids play on with "slight knocks" in football has seen far too many of my mates and their kids as well end up with all sorts of irregularities. We take minor injuries far too lightly, and dont look after our bodies well enough when they need recovery time.

My statement was that children heal quicker than us oldies, which although not being a medical man I think you will find is fact, the decision if fit to ski lays with the child and parent and maybe the doctor who will also advise, I have included my full quote so the abbreviated one can be seen in full context as it was intended.

Kids unlike us oldies heal very quickly, just have a plan b, there always seems plenty of kids clubs that you may be able to get her into if she is in too much pain, have a chat with the local tourist board
