Good point

If you brought a four gig card from Amazon about £9, it does depend on how much video you will take, I have never filled a 4 Gig card whilst on holiday

Tony_H wrote:So let me get this right; carre neige covers you for any rescue off the mountain from anywhere, on or off piste, wave the card and its all paid for. But then once you're delivered to the hospital, carre neige stops covering you, in which case your winter sports holiday insurance kicks in, or EHIC card I guess.

For £2 a day, I don't know why anyone wouldn't have carre neige cover tbh.

We do

You can do that depends on how much memory you have on your netbook,
also I am guessing that you will want to transfer to iMac for editing when you get home, I am not too sure how easy that is to transfer from PC to Mac.

Im sure i have read that the new ones can operate on cloud storage, obviously this would mean a decent internet signal for uplaoding once back at the hotel/chalet but could save on the need for loads of memory cards!!

Trouble is the down load takes up an awful lot of band width :-o
