From my research (before booking 1800) i learned that it is generally quiet. There are bars and restaurants but its all but nothing too lively.
1800 seems to be the best for nightlife which influenced my choice, especially as we are there for NYE.

I would love to go if i could guarantee an aurora show too.

The thing is we are away the second week in February too. I don't think I could possibly get away with it as much as I would like to.

OMG. This is cool I'm dictating this post to my MacBook and it is typing it out brilliant.
I think actually I'll be there two weeks before, so it would mean coming home for a week and then going skiing again the week later sounds good really doesn't it?
