Tony - Yep it was my first thought too. I sometimes think I am a bit too cynical. Then I think naaaah, better that than heading off on Gullibles Travels!!!!!!!!

Quite a good wind up though. Some people are jumping through hoops!!!

Little ski quote from another thread - 'Im going to finland/Helsinki
on my way to paris in a few weeks how far away is the ski field from there?'

Its nice of you all to take so much time trying to help her/him, but I think he/she is having a little laugh at you.

Surely no-one in this day and age could be so naive?

latest fashions in Finland last week

To get back to the subject of fashion, I saw a jacket being worn in Mayrhofen last week. It was kind of red and yellow with 'Racing Ski Team' emblazoned thereon.( It was not being worn by a racer!!!)

I remarked to my partner that the jacket could be either a £29.99 Decathlon job or £1000!!! Next night I saw the jacket in a 'boutique' ski shop - 1300Euros!!

Conclusion - You cant buy taste!!!!!

Little ski - are you serious? Have you heard of researching the internet, as almost everything you require will be available to you there. As admin says, start by looking on this site here!!

I went trsvelling in Australia a few years ago and did everything myself, flights, booking camper vans, cars, trips, and that was in the days before t'internet!!!!!!!!!

Its Europe you are visiting not the moon!!

And if your travel agent wants you to stay in St Moritz, and travel via Geneva to get to Courmayeur or Chamonix for a days ski-ing she needs a serious geography lesson. or a larger scale map!!!

Ditch the agent, do some research, fly over, and have a great holiday!! :D
