That is really helpful AllG because trying to work out where your hotel is in relation to the lifts can be tricky. Some hotel information is not all that accurate! When they say a 5 mins walk they often mean if done by Mo Farah!

We are off to Alpes D'Huez too on 4th Jan. We have booked one to one lessons with Stance Snow which was a recommendation from another J2Skier who has used them before. They seem very friendly and speak English.

The J2Ski group is now 20 strong, so if anyone wants to hook up with us, they are more than welcome.
We usually break up into smaller groups (because 20 is just too many in one go and we have a range of abilities in the group) so we go off to do a variety of things with coffee stops or lunch to meet up during the day. Any more J2Skiers who happen to be in the area will be welcome to come and say hello and join in if you want. |

I am looking forward to wearing my new onesie in Italy in Feb. I don't care what other people think, it's comfy.

Come with the J2Ski group Davidsa2. There are lots of different people with one thing in common, we love to ski. So there is bound to be someone you will get on with.
Last year we all had a great time, so much so, that we are doing it again this year, so we must have got something right. AllyG is a great organiser and we have high hopes for our accommodation in Italy in February and all at a really reasonable price. As OldAndy has said, you can ski with a group or go off on your own. I skied with different people during the week, sometimes in a big group and sometimes in a small one. We all pleased ourselves and really enjoyed meeting up over supper to discuss the best runs and who had fallen over and where. Love for you to join us. |

Like most legal systems, I am guessing the powers that be will lock people up without justifying their position and then it will be up to the ski companies to fight it through the courts to prove the local authorities wrong.
Could take years to sort out a legal precedent. Either way it will cause disruption and will put some off offering ski hosting. |
