Oooh Admin, I love it when you talk like that 8) :D
Broom, it's time to buy some new Goggles and embrace the Pow )
The Red slopes may be better for you on snowy days, bit more speed. When it's snowing the slopes are much quieter, more space, less queues.

I dream of floating in powder and making first tracks 8)

It's important to buy insurance that covers you for the elements of the sport you are involved in. Not sure of their Nationality, if they were Swiss, they might have Air-Glaciers Cards or Rega. It seems to be only British skiers that can buy ski insurance that offers vague cover.

The weather might have improved but the posted Avalanche warnings have only just gone to Moderate AFAIK. Before Christmas I skied off piste in Level 5 in Megeve. Black flag, never seen one before

Before anyone asks, yes I was with an instructor, on moderate gradient in amongst the trees :D

It might be worth them looking at either the Austrian Alpine Club Insurance (no upper age limit):

http://www.aacuk.org.uk/benefits.aspx

or contacting PJ Hayman Insurance Brokers directl. They may be able to make a suggestion:

I'm not a customer of, and have no connection, with either organisation.
I shall start dancing  Bring on the Pow :D

Nope, it's taught currently by top level BASI Instructors. I was made to ski with my boots completely undone here...

This included using the lift. One of the coaches on that event is a member of this forum.
