I had an e-mail from Eurostar to say they will start selling tickets for the ski trains to France and Switzerland on August 6th from 6-30 a.m.
Sorry if someone has already posted about this elsewhere  |

Well - a big kid I suppose, Ian ;)

I will be posting up some more info. about flights and lift pass prices etc. - maybe that will help to persuade her? Have you found out what she's worrying about? Is it US, or something to do with the resort? It would be great to have some more kids with us. At the moment all we have booked up for this are Old Boarder's two teenage kids ... |

BB - maybe you should have a go boarding yourself!
Best of luck to your 2 daughters :) I was going to try it out on our group ski holiday to Tignes but I was too busy having fun on skis :) I'm glad you're all over the altitude sickness. |

Thanks for the update BB :)
I have felt mild 'altitude sickness' at around 3000m - tipsy and out of breath and exhausted and nose bleeds and things. I find it's worse if I go up really fast in a funicular or something. It's not so bad if I go up gradually in chairlifts, and it's better if I'm sleeping at a lower altitude - like 1300m. I hope you all get over it, whatever it is :) |

I am totally jealous! But also very pleased that you're all having a good time :)

I'm not sure I could ski at all on that synthesizer thing! I reckon I would get totally confused and fall over :(
I found the snowdome was fine if I was having lessons - the instructor managed to find plenty of challenging things for us to do and it was great fun. But I agree it's very boring otherwise. |
