Yay!

Quiet simply NO it doesn't count so stop cheating

Take a small fridge ice try with you, seems odd an Iceman that doesn't know how to get ice in sub zero temperatures -)

I can vouch for that 8)

Les Brevieres has an ice driving track:

Melting the ice

In Tignes, you can demonstrate your daring beyond the ski runs. If you've always dreamed of performing feats on ice behind the wheel, you've come to the right place. Forget about city driving and discover ice driving at an altitude of 1,500 metres, just like a rally driver!
A ride with a professional pilot, lessons suited for all, beginners or not, special courses to get introduce or improve your driving on ice : everyone can expect a big thrill!

For the uninitiated
Emergency braking, turning, counter-steering, skidding… you'll discover all the tricks of ice driving on a very slick track. As for thrills, you'll be alone to feel them as your vehicle negotiates a turn at high speed. But no worries: workshops are led by certified instructors (BPJEPS Sport Automobile).

Useful information

Season:
- Early December to mid-March
Location:
- Tignes ice track – Les Brévières

Improving driving on ice wouldn't be of any use here 8)

I am pleased to announce that I have decided to go on this trip but will need to share a twin room with another person, is that person you?

Brooksy, how about posting a new thread in the "Find a Ski Buddy" forum and ask the same question (providing the link to this thread for details)????

It just crossed my mind that the "Find a Ski Buddy" is one of the forums that always stays "on top", right on the Ski Forum Index list! So there might be a better chance to be noticed by somebody who would be interested. (...By contrast this thread would be found only by people who either have an interest of checking out the "France" forums, or who would scroll down to the bottom on the page to see what were the new threads in the "Latest Ski Chat"...)

Hi Cat

Early days yet & may look into your suggestions further down the line when desperation creeps in :(

Firstly I got to deal with all the PMs from Romania, Russia & Thailand, find it hard to believe that so many women from these countries are dedicated skiers  might have to bump some of these to Icey, apparently he`s good at this sort of thing -)
