My family and I are coming to Munich mid-April and would like to take the opportunity to ski in Austria for the first time with 3 kids 10,9 and 4 :oops: :oops: :oops: for 3 days.

Wondering if anyone can recommend a ski resort preferable South of Munich which is family friendly and full of the white stuff. I have looked into Solden and St Anton.

Is it better to have a half board in hotel and for the hotel to sort out ski passes and ski hire or would it be better to rent a chalet or an apartment and sort the add ons separately? Estimated cost?

As a family we are true novices to skiing. I would prefer a ski school for the whole family so we can laugh at each other, joking aside is there a minimum age for ski school as I would also like my 4 year old to join in too.
