Many thanks, can you tell me who you use for transfers to les arcs, I have searched several sites and they were coming in at around 500 euros for the 3 of us return.

We thought about paradiski but the transfer from Geneva is going to be too long and too costly, we can only fly direct to Geneva.

thanks for all the great responses, very helpful. We have chosen morzine or chamonix because we will be flying into Geneva and we have found two catered chalets there that have great reviews and are reasonably priced for us. At the moment I am leaning towards Morzine as it seems more beginner/family friendly.

I think the options are probably bite the bullet and pay extra £550ish and go the first week to Morzine or go 2nd Week in April and go to Chamonix.

Hi we are beginners and would like some advice on where to go, we have the decided on the following options:

First week of Arpril - Morzine
OR
Second week of April - Morzine or Chamonix (approx £550 cheaper for our whole group to go second week)

We have opted for a catered chalet so we are not too bothered about nightlife or restaurants, our priority would be snow and good options for beginners. Would you risk going the second week to save money and which would resort would be a better bet to guarantee snow.

We also have a small child beginning to ski so a good ski school would be a consideration for us.
