Is it Vertigo or a fear of heights that your friend has? Skiing with vertigo is nearly impossible. I had this due to an inner ear problem once and it was horrible. I could not ski without feeling nauseated and feeling that the slopes were closing in on me. The fear of heights may be easier to overcome I would imagine

I LOVE TKMaxx. I got a Spyder jacket and slapperettes for a snip just before christmas. Salomen ski socks. Thermals. Hats. Gortex boots. Love that shop!!
