OK hi all again just an update where we are. We have now decided on Bansko 4 march any good places to stay near the gondola :-)

Hey all
its becoming more apparent that for our budget snow is going to become hard to find, Although we are a stag do and of course beer is high on the list the skiing was also just as important(although not at the same time). 50% of are group are active people the other half are beer monsters :shock: so im looking for the right mix of fun and pubs i suppose , Any other suggestions i would be gratefull for :-o |

Many thanks all for your reply's, has any of you guys had any experience with skiing in Bulgaria. Bansko has been mentioned to us as a possible place to go, I am now realizing that my budget was a bit low but would love to try and keep the cost down as much as poss :D

Hi all
we are thinking of going skiing on a stag do in April total beginners average age 38, party size 10 plus , AVERAGE BUDGET £500, 1 weeks stay , looking for somewhere to ski but also with a bit of nightlife. Questions 1. Is there good places to ski in April for beginners 2. Is our budget realistic <including ski hire,passes> 3. what do you all think of chamonix 4. things to do for the folk who decide skiing is not for them Thanks in advance for all your help :D |
