Cheers x

Take your own skis that is why you brought them, unless you are flying with the Irish lot in which case I would suggest you hire. 8)
We all possible have experienced poor customer service or rudeness at one time or another for me it has only happened a couple of times once in the Spainish Pyrenees and the other time in Austria. Overall I am happy with the service I get on my hols. 8)

As I have said previously on the ski leading thread if people are unhappy with what is happening in the French alps they should protest with their skis and move on to a different country.

Hi,

There are heavy snowfalls in Polish ski resorts atm.
Plenty of snow so should last until your trip.
Where are you going to stay in Poland?

Hi

Krakow (need to get round to booking a hotel). Weather forecast is for rain second part of next week.

bald-eagleman wrote:Try Bialka and Kaprowky Weich and base yourself at Zakopane. It is a lovely town but must say the skiing is not joined. However you can have a good day each at the above resorts but if you are a reasonable skier you will struggle to get a week as the runs are limited. But if you are in the area!!

I love Zakopane, although I now the skiing is not great, not been for some years now. Last time I was there it was like water skiing over ice.

Tempted to book Livigno on the 21st, will it be still open?

If you choose Livigno then some hotels offer free lift passes after 13th April 8)

So Chamonix holds no other appeal for me personally, and from what Ive read its got to remain way down the wish list.

It does have a beautiful setting, go in the summer you will get neck ache just walking about

I think the Fins, Austrian and Portuguese people are the most friendly and helpful
