Ian, with respect, you've already made your views on this topic known. If you don't want to read a thread about the food we eat while skiing, then just skip over it.

I'm not sure if you have it across the pond, but we have freedom of speech over here

And I will continue to post on what ever thread I wish .... I thank you

You better be a good skier, everyone will be looking at you.

On the positive side, it looks like it has plenty of products 8)

I think you would get away with if your from the North or under 6 years old -)

Well that romper suit should win a few comedy awards, as should the wearer as brave as he is

Looks horrid & note you couldn't finish it, don't blame you :(

Looks can be deceiving....

Not in this case & you didn't finish it, be honest :(

I did finish it, down to the last grain of rice. Not much point taking a photo of an empty plate. It was very tasty.

I`d have preferred the empty plate to the previous contents, maybe I'm just picky.

Good food = Hamburger

You didn't taste the Deer Valley hamburger.

Don't have a photo, but Park City mountain resort has an all you can eat breakfast buffet for about £7 that includes bacon, sausage, eggs, (and a whole bunch of healthy stuff that I don't eat when I'm skiing). Works out well as you can get a few runs in, and then eat enough not to need lunch.

Sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen 8)

Do you drive a traaactor?

My whole family (husband and children) were born in Norfolk, all except me  I've only been here 25 years so i'm not even local yet

Sounds like you're nearly there -)

bedrock barney wrote:I nearly bought a a very nice gore-tex Sweet Protection jacket in Norway. It was £300 down from £550. It was red which wasn't my 1st choice. Slept on it, went back to the shop the next day and some git had bought it. There is a moral in there somewhere.

There was a equally high quality Norrona jacket but I received negative feedback from the family when I tried it on.

Apparently I'm not "youthful" enough to carry it off

To cap it all, my friend who we were holidaying with came back from another shop with a Norrona jacket down from £500 to £150.
He looked like the cat that had got the cream.

I'm now scouring Uk websites for stuff in the sale. Tricky when you can't try on before you buy though.

Looks like your age was your best defence, did you really want to ski in a jacket made from offcuts
