Back to wine and summer and stuff...

I used to vow not to drink wine during the week. Unfortunately I find that's all pie in the sky and if you want to open a bottle, you go on and open a bottom.
I'm avoiding beer, thats what does the damage.

I also now have a 12 week window to try to get to the level I want to be at for stripping off and bearing all (well, some....) around the pool or on the beach. I managed to lose 1.5 stone last summer, and I'm still at the same weight, which is good, but I think another half a stone needs to come off, maybe a little bit of toning as well, before the summer break comes round....

....which I happened to have booked yesterday.

Bring it on Skiathos.

The TH deal finder strikes again :mrgreen:

A sure fire way of getting yourself in good nick would be to do as much building work as you can, even at home, works for me -)

Thanks for sharing that with us :roll:

Tony_H wrote:No, thats Watford Gap, near Northampton.

Did you know Watford Gap was the first motorway services in the UK?

Anyone heard the song...."Watford Gap, Watford Gap, a plate of grease and a load of crap" Caused massive issues back in the day, I can tell ya :lol:

Anyway......

North = poor people, dirty black stonework, coal mines, fat women with bleached hair in short skirts, grating accents and stupid phrases;
"our kid"; "ee by gum"; "ecky thump"; "nowt"; "reet good that was"; "why eye pet" etc etc

South = stuck up arrogant people, narrow windy country roads full of caravans, inflated prices, tea rooms, women with pony tales in tweed skirts walking like explorers, Bentley's and Aston Martin's, more grating accents and stupid phrases;
"I say old chap"; "cor blimey govnor"; "ave sam olat"; words starting with wh being pronounced like fw (try it, you'll know what I mean) etc etc

I'm from the East Midlands luckily -)

And I'm in Lanzarote none of that balderdash over here8)
Up at 7am....i'm on a mission.

Sounds like you want one, so are you going the whole hog?

Dave why are you passing wind on here :)

???

Brooksy, I am a bit surpised at that comment, I figure you to be a bit smarter than some of the stick wavers.....

I filled the lads query as requested, ab deutsch. That, by the way, would have done no favours to Mr Hanson!

Dave my comment was relating to the word FERTIG as to me it sounds like the common word for passing wind, apologies for causing you to believe the post to be more sinister :oops:
