This made me chuckle. Dogs are so funny, we have a yellow Lab, he's the laziest dog in the world, sadly he has very bad arthritis in his front paws from a birth defect and has to wear boots when we walk him (apparently dogs in the alps wear them to stop their paws cracking with all the snow/ice/grit whatever), they really help him though. He's only 5.

Meet Honey the blond lab.

EEEEEEKKKK!!! Mrs snapzzz says that you are common if you leave your pegs on the line without purpose.

Why do ski resorts leave things so late?

I have noticed several times that some resorts install new lifts and do other remodelling really late in the year.

For example, on top of Signal in ADH they are rebuilding a restaurant and in Les Bergers they are installing a new chairlift.
I have been watching this work on the webcams as they plod along and now (last night) it started snowing.
Why would they not do it in summer when there is no danger of a huge dump of snow to cause problems....?

Jeez, i hadn't considered that I may be such.
Thanks ally for the kind words, 'carve' them on my gravestone as I'm off to self harm.

I have a SSD in my macbook pro, it makes a lot of difference. Have you seen the new Fusion drives they are offering?

What difference do you notice on daily 'puting with SSD Snapzzz?

Depends on what you do daily really.
Its just fast, everything is very responsive. Apps open quick. files copy quick. Events that took 5-10 secs on my old mac now are instantaneous. But you just get used to it after a while, its just normal to me now.

Hey Ho

But upon reflection i am thinking it wasn't a bad thing. Too much to go into here but in all honesty im not bothered that i didn't get the job but i am gutted that i failed the interview......if that makes sense?
I like to do well and to fail at anything annoys me, and the feedback i received felt a little personal too. Fortunately she decided against me as her manner today left me in no doubt we would have had a rather rocky relationship.

Bad luck......but as you said, maybe you dodged a bullet?

Plenty more fish in the sea. Just keep on casting the line :D

I'm in mega IT sulk mode here as our mac mini server appears to have just died on us. I have everything backed up but it will probably take a week to get fixed or get a new one shipped to us (we lease our computers). I bet it's the HDD. May opt for a solid state drive next time.

Re the job: I honestly think i did 'dodge a bullet' but it still bugs me
