Who wears a helmet?

thanks all, Interesting reading. I'm aware this is a hot topic and I did try to search the forums and couldn't find any threads covering this???

So the jury is still out, I think Tony raises some interesting points - I've always worn a helmet for mountain biking, I'm a keen motorcyclist and therefore certainly understand the benefits - I think the issue on the slopes stems to one of vanity, I dont see any down sides to wearing one so I think I will take one with me and see how it goes.......

Its been some considerable time since my last ski trip (over 15 years now) - however I am now looking forward to a trip to the 3v in march :) , helmets really weren't the norm back then and I have read conflicting articles to just how much safety a helmet offers.

Do most skiiers now wear a helmet? what are your thoughts?
some local knowledge please!

He he lol, you'd have thought it was a girl booking it there! We wanted a chalet and seeing as we booked it a few days ago options were limited, well at least the skiing will be good!
