Hi

Matthew being 19 tends to drink quite a lot which tends to leave me out of pocket and suffering from a hang over. He skis far better than I can, and he is funny, (not jealous really) .

We go with friends who also take their 19 year old and the both of them seem to have good fun and occasionally feel sorry for us and ski with the group (always at lunch time and just before we go to the pub), just to so how much better they are than us. His younger brother is following in his foot steps. :?:

He did manage to afford to go with his girlfriend on holiday in the summer. (how)

Taking the comments on board, family holiday all together great fun, how much longer will it last who knows, as long as I can afford it, yes we will pay.
Hi,

Following a discussion with AllyG, I noticed I am still paying for my eldest child to come skiing with us.

He is 19 and at Uni.
Question
At what age do you think I should stop paying for him.

I am going for 19 :D
Is it just me?

Hi AllyG
Unfortunately it is per person, but Chalet is first class. It caters for 14 but only 11 are going so we have to pay an extra over

We have buns and cake, wine etc and we can ski back to the chalet but prefer to go straight to the pub.

We can only go in School holidays as our youngest is 15, but our eldest is 19 and at uni, hopefully it won't be to long before eldest is wanting to pay for himself

Morzine for New Year

We have booked for the new year in Morzine :D , we are just going to see what happens, but we are in catered chalet.

We book on the day for lunch on the piste depending on the route.

Last year was good lots of snow and if you are skiing you build up heat so keep just as warm, we generally ensure we have a extra layer spare gloves in the back pack just in case, the alcohol is optional.
