Im not a local (sorry), but when we last went to NZ for skiing, the TC slopes are really good and the weather didn't play up except the odd bit here and there.
Have fun though wherever you may go!

I'd have to admit Pablo, a TRUCKLOAD less to carry. But i personally think that skiing is a lot more fun and a bit less painfull.
But don't let that put you off- their both fantastic!!

Is there any way to avoid wipeing out if a fast turn on ice is unavoidable??
