I don't get it.
Why would you want to mark it, if there's no difference between the skis, so that you know which is the inside edge? Ally |

Ian,
That's pretty tough. Do you find it hard ski-ing to try and balance your energy, and eat regularly (it would be awful if you passed out on the slopes somewhere)? I've heard it's hard to watch your weight when you're diabetic. Ally |

Ian,
Are you really a diabetic, or are you just mucking around (technical farming term) again? Dave, That's what happened to me - no spare cash for 30 years. Ally |

Ian,
I hope it's the no sugar added sort of albran, you wouldn't like to put that 4 pounds back on would you? Actually I'm on a diet as well - have been for a couple of months, and I've lost about 12 pounds, only got to lose another 2 pounds. I like outside work, and getting dirty and things, and I'd never be able to stick wearing a suit or looking smart, so choosing farming was pretty much a no-brainer. But I did go to university to learn the theory. Ally |

I've got 11 months to go before my next ski holiday, but only 3 months before my mini holiday to the Manchester snow dome. And maybe I'll fit in another snow dome holiday at some time before we go to France, so that the wait won't be quite so unbearable.
Best of luck to everyone still to go, and I hope they have a great time, Ally |

Ian,
No I'm not 41, because it's 6 years since I first took my daughters ski-ing, and consequently I am 47. Eljay, my Mum was a G.P. and my Dad was/is an antiquarian bookseller. But like pretty much everyone in the world, my ancestors on both sides were farmers. Ally |

Ian,
Yes I am a farmer, but my parents weren't, Ally |
