Thanks Daved, someone posted up about that scam before.
And when I was in Tignes in November I was talking to a boarder in the chalet who was selling stuff on the internet and he told me that one day a tractor suddenly appeared for sale on his website! Somehow they'd managed to hack into his website and put the tractor there, and presumably they were going to collect the money for it, using the good name of his website as a cover for their fraudulent activities. Luckily he noticed the tractor and got rid of it. The hotel in Folgarida that we're going to on the J2Ski group holiday is definitely there, and it is them I've been e-mailing. Ian W went out there and spoke to the manager himself. Plus, we don't have to pay the hotel until we get there :) |
