THIS THREAD HAS NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH OFF PISTE OR INSURANCE ISSUES!!!!
Cheaper than 50quid with hot dog and chips I'll wager!
(Although I suppose it would depend on the size of said dog!)

Decided to go with the Head challenger and after 3 days in them they are feeling really good. Power transfer through boot feels good and comfort fine.
Delighted so far and would recommend the Head Challenger to any serious aggressive skiers.

Tony_H wrote:3 metres from the edge of the piste IS off piste Ally. This is where many people get it wrong, thinking that just bobbing off the edge is ok, but it is technically off piste. Off piste is not back country or touring miles from anywhere.
Ally, would you ever ski 3 metres from a piste and think you were fully insured and ok?

Please lets discuss this for what it is... a tragic ACCIDENT. I find your attempt to turn it into an insurance/off piste issue a bit distasteful Tony.

I know it's not everybody's cup of tea(and I'd like to keep it that way!) but there is loads of snow in Grandvalira. Just come down after some spring type off piste adventures. Hope snow arrives for all Alp centric j2ers!
