1. Approach youngest daughter (or anyone else for that matter) at speed

2. Turn sharply, just before reaching the victim

3. Stop on the slope and start to edge backwards

4. Crash

5. Release remaining ski, retrieve pole and take the ensuing mickey taking with good grace

Further expert tutorials to follow including "how to catch an edge whilst approaching a lift queue at low speed on flat ground" and "falling over on a button lift with style"

Looks like we are over the worst in terms of illnesses. Whole family has been skiing the last couple of days. Two more days to go!
Very warm in EK last two days but the pistes are still very good.

santons was shut today. Came down At the end of the day via Le Face and also the red that runs alongside. Both were bloody awful! The snow is good but the pistes are carving up pretty quickly due to the numbers. The exit from the top of the Olympique is fairly shambolic - like Picadilly Circus.

Mrs BB has developed bronchitis. Only 50% of family BB on the slopes today. :(

Terrible timing. Probably the worst illness she's had in at least 10 years.

We're hoping for a rapid recovery over the next 48 hours.....

bet it was that scumbag that was coughing all over everyone in the lift queue.

:( that's no fun. My wife is in pretty poor shape with the same (and youngest daughter). They only skied the morning on our 1st day. Lots of medicines being consumed and hoping for a quickish recovery.

Hope you're feeling better soon.
ally, snow conditions in EK are fantastic. Blue skies today. Hardly any wind. very busy though! might do the Sache run tomorrow. ski Bonjour chalet is brilliant, even better than we hoped.
