I think most places can get busy at certain places and at certain times.
Normally you can find quiet slopes and lifts if you venture out of the main town in every resort.

Did you enyoy your holiday Snapzz ?- you haven't said much about it. You mentioned in an earlier post that you were not sure about the resort but would think about why.

Lizzie, i really enjoyed my holiday despite the man flu but it did put a dampener on it a little.
As for Les Arcs, well i won't be going back. Our accomodation was first rate, the best i have ever stayed in by a VERY long way however the resort itself simply had no magic. It had no soul.
Everywhere else i have been has given me a sense of being somewhere or part of something magical, Les Arcs felt bland.

1800, where we stayed, seemed the worse. Vallandry looked nice, i wish we had stayed there as the skiing above there was the nicest.
The Arc 2000 bowl (with 1950) is quite bleak and i am so thankful i didn't book there.

I was happy on the snow but there were also no standout runs, if you asked me know which was my fav i would struggle to recall.

I sound really miserable don't i? I don't mean to be, i did enjoy it but i think that was purely because i was skiing and not working. Les Arcs resort did nothing to encourage this.

The pertinent question should be "What makes the snow go yellow?"

That man i saw blatantly colouring the snow next to a lift in Les Arcs..... Disgusting, especially with all the kids sliding past.

Dang, I am in La Plagne on the 2nd Feb. I guess that means I have got to watch out for the towels and deckchairs left lying around by the Germans

That is awful, the video isn't graphic but still is pleasant as you know what is going on.
