Pete, I think you're in luck... keep dancing but the Snow Forecast for Les Gets (being updated as I write) is looking good...

Looks like Snow in Soll tomorrow and a bit more next week - but keep your fingers crossed the temperatures stay down... you'll be ok.

Our latest Snow Report for Les Deux Alpes shows depths of 25 and 110 cm (lower and upper slopes respectively)... but the interesting bit is the LDA Snow Forecast (being updated now) - if you're going next week you're going to have freshies by the looks of it! 8)
Enjoy! |

Once more courtesy of WetterZentrale, here is the ensemble forecast for Vienna.
Upper set of lines is forecast temperature (degrees C - left axis) according to different runs of the models (each line a different run). The bold white line is the average of all the model runs, the bold red line is the historical (30 year) average. Lower set of lines is forecast precipitation (snow cm - right axis). So where the upper lines dip below zero and the lower lines rise... that's when the snow will come. |

We got it so bad here that we built a website just to attract fellow sufferers to join us in our pain! 8) My name's Admin and I'm a forecastaholic... |

Doh... sorry it's the Two Week Forecast for Geneva here |

Hi Pete, latest Snow Forecast for Les Gets shows lower temperatures and a bit of snow for next week, but the following week is beginning to look more interesting in the forecasts (check those funky coloured squiggly lines on the other thread...) |
