From the UK. Started skiing when I was younger but have now naturally progressed to boarding ;).
I'll give Feldberg a try. Will probably leave it till the last moment to make sure there is at least snow in the resort at the end of this month! The nightlife sounds 'interesting'. How far is it to drive from Freidburg to the Feldberg resort? |

Hi All,
I'm being shipped to Frankfurt on business at the end of March and was thinking maybe i could squeeze some skiing/boarding in at the weekend. According to google maps Feldberg is a few hours drive away (am renting car), but to be honest I haven't heard much about the resort and have a few question I hope the esteemed j2ski community can help me with. - Is there any chance there will still be snow the weekend of the 27/28 of March? Or would i be better off driving a bit further and just hitting the alps? - Where is the best place to stay? Are there any hotels near the lifts, or ski in ski out type affairs? I'll be going on my own and am in my twenties, and while I'll be concentrating on the snow primarily, I would like a little bit of nightlife. Maybe staying in Baden-Baden and driving to the slopes in the morning would be an option? Thanks, J |
