I guess I would say I'm a fairly sensitive person, and I thought the Wickham horse, the Tina, and some of the Borovets comments were a bit over the top, and I was very glad they weren't directed at me.

However, I do usually find that some kind person will intervene before things get totally out of hand. And, failing that, as a last resort, Admin is very good at controlling threads and if he can't get people back in line, then he locks them. I wouldn't like to belong to an unregulated forum.

Thank you very much Admin :D :D :D

Tino,
It doesn't make any kind of sense, and the next person who posted a comment said he must have been drunk, which I would think was very likely. It's no reflection on your lovely photograph :D

Pablo,
I thought running on a treadmill in a gym didn't cause high impact problems? I try to run on grass as much as possible, rather than on the road, for similar reasons.

I totally agree that we should all make more of an effort to be nice to each other, and particularly to the newbies :D

Dave, I have also been guilty of accidentally upsetting someone and having to apologize by pm. Misunderstandings can easily occur with the typed word.

It looks lovely and sunny, Tony, my perfect ski-ing weather. And I'm glad you had a good time, and there was a bit of snow for you.

It's not like booking a taxi ride, the slope operators offer a rescue service, typically for those needing medical attention. Disinclination to ski down is unlikely to be covered by any insurance policy. Suggest you carry plenty of cash with you.

Just pretend you have gone snowblind, it's almost the truth, and they will take you down for that.

Thanks Far Queue, I am nearly in a total state of panic, sitting here at home, just thinking about it.

I think I should add several items to my already long packing list, viz; one emergency whistle (like the one in 'Titanic'), igloo building instructions, program into my mobile phone all the emergency French numbers, bring a CB radio in case my mobile has no signal, a survival bag, emergency rations in my rucksack, masses of euros .... anything else?
