8) Don't look, in case it runs and hides, but early next week is looking a little interesting from the last few GFS runs. What are the mountain goats whispering Jan? |

That's handy... And for today... it looks like it's snowing now... |

You heard it from the j2ski massive - pull yourself together girl... I apologise for my earlier advice - I missed the fact you had young 'uns. In light of which I'd like to amend my opinion. You should put your kids to work in the nearest mine and have an even better holiday next season! But seriously... good call (of yours); seeing my 10-year-old getting it together on skis is priceless. Focussing on your kids will be a great way of negating your personal disappointment at not skiing - you'll have a great time. :D |

Dave, that's brilliant... have you considered marketing Austrian carpet tiles for this purpose? |

Indeed... for snow forecasts on your smartphone, point it here :- www.j2ski.mobi |

Grab a cheap flight and go to Tignes in April, May, June... take a course with Warren Smith (Saas Fee in the summer) and you're nearly there... 8) Damn, I'm dreaming again... |

Hi Iceman... currently, we indicate the most likely dominant weather for the daylight hours (as that's what you'll notice) but the estimated snowfall (cms) is for the full 24 hour period.
It's on our plan to add more detailed forecasts, probably for the next 48 or 72 hours, to give folks an idea of when the weather's going to do what. Not sure when that'll be available but hopefully before the end of this season. ...is that something y'all would find useful? Would a "next 48/72 hour" breakdown of morning/afternoon/evening conditions be useful? All those in favour - say aye... |

Good news... seems to be a few cm of fresh in many of the webcams this morning - fingers crossed for more.
Keep us in the loop Mr Stenmark... 8) |
