Old Fart category sounds about right :D

Trouble is, there are so many of us, it would skew the survey

If you come across a short downhill section, you can choose to leave the skins on. It feels weird ang grabby, with Fritschi's you can lock down the heel and off you go.

Crikey, the VB looks busier than McDonalds in Lewisham at lunchtime on a Saturday just before Xmas

It's okay FQ, no need to worry, there are enough crevasses for everyone :D

Fritschi's are pretty solid and easy to use IME. Yes, they are tall, so there is no chance of boot out ) Never experienced the "slop" that is talked about on the web.

Fritschi sell ski crampons to fit.

If you decide they are ok, consider if you want to fit return springs for a small weight addition.
ACL Injury

Watched a video clip of a SH skiing very carefully at 12 weeks post ACL rebuild. He's now back to full form, following winter.

My OH skis with one missing. He was unaware that it had been gone for some time when he started to learn to ski. Now uses a Cti brace.
