Morning Tony, It could have been  As i recall we went the first week in February and the snow, for that area of Italy, was very good that year. The hut was above the Sportina area with a name that slips my mind but I have a picture of it and will post it in the near future. That was a great trip and brill skiing :D

Emma, I don't own a silly hat, as yet however, when skiing in Sauze two years ago, the group had a wig day. I had a pukka beach bum/rasta dreadlocks wig. This proved a great hit with the locals and when stopping for a drink in one of the mountain huts the staff put reggae music on and one of the Chef's appeared from the kitchen to try it on. :D I will see if I can find it and post a picture.

Should read Standstill Britain. Snow still about 3 inches in our part of Surrey with 10-20 cms forecast over the next night and day. Its the ice thats causing our problems at the moment. I have never seen our service roads so bad! sheet ice. The main roads are not too bad its just trying to reach them thats the problem.

Has been snowing on and off all day in Surrey. Approx 2-3 inches in the garden at the present time but more expected overnight.

I think they produce a chest harness for some camera's, which is useful if you want to use your sticks/poles.
