There is a big difference between 5kw and 5kwh.
The first is the effect used, and if something uses 5kw and stays turned on for 1 hour it becomes 5kwh. And if it stays on for 4000 hours it becomes 20 000kwh. I left the thousand seperator blank intentionally, because this is one of many differences between US and EU. And you can't use a solarpanel without connection to the grid to run a commercial lift. Think about when the lift stops, there will be power overrun, and on cloudy days, there will be to little power. Just my 2 EUROcent |

Hi All
Does anybody know Andalo, small Italian place with 50 km piste, and no draglifts. But is it any good for my familys fifth skivacation. Has previously been in Sweden and Norway, and liked the houses and afterski we did ourselves, in the rented house/flat. But what are your experience? Thanks in advance. TheDane |

Simple question.
What happens if you do not wax your skiis. I know all the stories, you will go slower, but mostly I use the brake downhill. Have any of you seen damaged skis? I'm not talking about heard about and so on, but actally seen a damaged ski due to lack of wax. The edges goes without saying, if they become dull they wont work as good.
