The best resort we have ever been to for top ski instructors. We have skied with instructors in Niederau, Sauze D'Oulx in Italy and Scheffau three times. Some intructors are better then other whereever you choose to ski but Scheffau is excellent. However, if you find your unhappy with your instructor, either because his english is not good enough or you are not improving ask to change to another instructor. 'If the pupil hasn't learnt the teacher hasn't taught. PS: We are in Scheffau to ski again from 9th-19th Jan '10

Do what we do !
If you are skiing with others and stop on the mountain for a refreshment break. DO NOT PARK YOUR SKIS AS PAIR AT ANYTIME. Instead exchange one of your skis with someone in your group or your partner and park them away from each other. One large ski parked with a smaller ski are unlikely to be selected by theives. Having exchange one ski do not then leave yours next to your partners skis, move them some distance apart. |
