Don't know anything about insurance, but was wondering how that injury is now. Good to hear it hasn't put you off.

Hi

Knee is very good thank you. . The only cure can be a good downpoor of the white stuff and some serious ski time.

I've got a set of my own. They are great! This season will be my first full one so I'm not sure on how to accurately describe them for ya, but they did survive Austria in the summer as well as lots of trips out to my local resort. They were very responsive and kind to a messed up knee. I got mine on at an "end of the season sale"

I've got a trip booked to Mayrhofen in January and I reckon there's points to be had for breaking my black run duck on Austria's steepest.

If you want to break your leg or neck, then this run is for you. If you want to break your duck, pick something a little less mental. If you fall on here, you will not get up until you hit the bottom. It is 78 degrees. I have seen several bad falls on here, ending up with a helicopter trip to hospital.

Seriously, Mayrhofen is a fabulous ski area, but some of the reds there are challenging enough. I havent skiid the H-K, neither has my mate who has been skiing for 30 years and knows Mayrhofen inside out.

Red 7 up the back of the Horberg is a fabulous run, and make sure you go up the 150 cable car and try some of the runs of the back fo Rastkogel. There is plenty of challenging and varied skiing on the Penken area, dont get hung up on doing a black, and if you do the H-K, you may live to regret it!!!!
 ellistine if you go for it, best of luck to ya.

If the unforutate happens I know a great chopper service....
