Got my copy of "The Edge of Never" DVD from the States. If you do a web search under The Edge of Never" it produces William Kerig's site where you can order it. I thought it was well worth the wait. Not been to Cham yet but its high up on my list to visit

Forgot to mention, if your into to extreme skiing then I can recommend the book "The Edge of Never" and it is now on DVD. It has some great footage of Anselme Baud, Glen Plake, Stephane (Fanfan)Dan and others in Chamonix. They have arranged for Kye Petersen, then 15 years of age and son of the late and great Trevor Petersen, to ski the run where his Father had died many years before.

Ian, except for cross country skiers, theres new legislation on the backburner! It goes something like this - ski from the hip, shoot from the hip and drink from the hip flask :D Yahoo cowboy

Freehandjunkie, This is one of the great films up there with the aged Blizzard of Ahhs. Its rather sad that both Doug and Shane have died in the mountains since it was filmed but the film remains as a moving tribute to them both and others that we have lost participating in a sport they so clearly love.
