Agree with Daved I was in Chatel for a week did not get to Switzerland or to Morzine, well we did plan to do Morzine on the last day but wind and snow closed some of the connections so had to stay local …. :thumbup:

My only advice would be to get up in good time and get to your destination car park by 9ish before it gets too busy (unless it's low season). Lots of places in that area have eating places on the slopes 'Hors Sac' where you are welcome to sit inside to eat your own picnic - ideal if you're on a budget and the weather isn't good enough to sit outside. We're going back this Christmas and New Year ..... might even bump into Mr W -)

What I remember of the St Anton ski buses they were always full and they seemed to not run very often , allowing the pay as you ride bus which was also always full to make money …… could this be an Austrian ploy to drain our pockets or just a resort that just doesn't care MMMMmmmm 8)
