Went through and had a look at freeze yesterday, very limited stock as they have 30% off at the moment.
Probably pick up some poles from there but the skis were a bit limited, sales guy was bigging up the Kung Fujas but don't think I want to go as fat as them.

Tanner Halls also looked good, think I just need to pick a pair and go for it, any more advice on the size?? 170ish or should I be looking at nearer 180. **vitals on original comment**

Trip to Val Thorens booked for the end of March and looking forward to hitting the park there!!

I've narrowed my ski choice down to Salomon Suspects or K2 Extremes, I know there are prob better all round twin tips out there like the 4frnt MSP but budget is a factor and these 2 seem to get very good reviews for a reasonable priced ski.

Just looking for peoples opinions of the two and also if I go for the Suspects should I go 171 or 176?? Extremes would be 174.
(I'm, 82kg, 5'11'')

I'll ski pretty much whatever, confident on reds but will give tricky blacks, trees, pow etc a try if the conditions are good.

Loved skiing rental twin tips over the past few trips and have started getting more and more into trying park stuff.

All advice greatly appreciated.

Well I presume if I want to learn park which would involve trying to land some jumps switch, skiing backwards may come in handy!!

I tried out the extreme and suspect at the snowzone in glasgow but it's hard to tell on such a small slope. The suspects did seem to be a bit more lively and forgiving so was leaning towards them.

The other ski suggested in the Ellis shop there were the Scott Punishers.

Just looking for some thoughts/advice on buying some twin tip skis.

I've hired TT's over the past few years, not sure of the make but I've been looking at either the K2 Extreme's or Salomon Suspect to buy before this years trip to Val Thorens. I know there are probably better models like the 4Frnt MSP's and Line Chronic but there a little out my budget.

I'm a fairly aggressive skier on the pisted slops, ski mostly red's with occasional blacks and love going into the pow if it's there to enjoy. Last year I started trying out some park and I'm looking to do this more often.

Would also like some advice on lenght to buy, I'm 5'11" and just under 13 stone, will be trying to get this down nearer 12 and 1/2 before I head off though.

All advice appreciated cheers.
