obergurgl/hochgurgl snow sure till early may resort is 1900m and highest skiing about 3000m went in jan and it was brill

thanks very much nadia race for your reply it has alot of interesting information. one of the things we like about austria is the traditional feel about the place so we might have to think again or go back to obergurgl!!!! if there is anywhere else you can recommend that is similar to obergurgl? thanks

thanks for reply daved have been to obergurgl/hochgurgl this january and most of hochgurgl is above treeline but it was lovely and no queues at the lifts which is a big bonus what are the queues like there?

thinking about booking for here for 2010 and after reading about it it sounds similar to obergurgl/hochgurgl which we thought was brilliant :D just wonderered if anyone can help many thanks
