Sorry it's taken me a while to get back here, but that sounds like a great suggestion! This is the problem with being a beginner, I don't really know where it is possible to get to from all the different airports, so I would never have considered Munich as a possible starting point.
Will definitely look in to it! |

RossF - Thanks, that's really helpful about the altibus, plus the chalet looks lovely!
KevinC - Looking at diy I think we could do it in the future, although current prices even on easyjet don't leave much room for accommodation/lift passes and other costs. I found a flight to Innsbruck that was over £1000, and the cheapest flights were still around £300 each. Potentially we could get a last minute deal on accommodation but I'm not sure if I can bear to risk it! Swskier - Have looked at Glasgow but a lot of flights leave at 7am, so we'd have to get there the night before. It's got potential but depends how much we can find a travel lodge for! Arghhhh, why is it all so complicated! I am tempted just to give up entirely... :x |

Hallo everyone
We want to go skiing on March 28th, and have been before with Skiworld. Just called them now and they don't have any flights from Edinburgh that week! With work commitments and budget we can't really afford to go to any other airport. :( I've noticed there are quite a few Scots on here so who do you go with? This is what we are looking for... - Flights from Edinburgh - Good resort for beginners, but with maybe a couple of easy intermediate runs in case we become good all of a sudden. - in Europe - Ideally catered chalet accommodation - Not insanely expensive We'd consider going independently but we've only been skiing a couple of times before and still don't really understand how it all works. Thanks for your help! Jen |
