Last trip we took to Italy - my bags weighed something lik 19 KG's - no problem this side - coming back they weighed 22KG's ...... so kids - explain that, and before you say anything about buying more clothes blah blah - NOPE - exactly the same as when we went out......

So something else to consider: do you get heavier with altitude ;-)

Nevermind.

Hope you had a good trip :D
I'm sure I read somewhere that BA started to charge for ski carriage as from October this year and I thought that Easy jet charged £18.50. Not double checked that, so might be wrong.

I always put my boots in with luggage and have never been over the weight allowance ( and I'm a girl)
I also pad out my skis to protect them with ski socks and stuff easily replaced if the bag arrives later than I do!

QOTS - all depends on what you want your skis to do for you and what level of skier you are.

I did thank you.
I got some K2 One Luv's and I absolutely love them. Perfect for Polly Pocket sized people like me! :D
