Can't help with Kitz. However, in any other resort I have been in, it is possible to store skis/boots with any of the businesses providing such services. They may give priority to people who book their gear through them and will usually give a good discount or in some cases even free to those renting from them.
I would be surprised if you were not able to obtain storage. Might be worth asking your accommodation - they will often know somebody in town or might even have an arrangement with one of the shops. |

Heading to Soll in two weeks for a long weekend. Skiing from Saturday, 6th to Tuesday, 9th. Will any other J2skiers be there at this time?

I don't think green salopettes will offer much protection for your head in the event of a fall . Having suffered a concussion after a completely innocuous low speed fall a few years ago, I now regard a helmet as an essential piece of kit . |

Stop gloating . Its not fair . Some of us have to work in countries where there is no snow for skiing (and plastic is not the same) |

Not sure why site does not appear to be picking up snow conditions for the Skiwelt resorts (Sol, Ellmau, etc) either?

Forget that  . Why not buy your own resort for an extremely reasonable $149,000

....... but excellent value if you do not need ski carriage . I am as quick to criticize Ryanair as anybody but they can offer great value on occasion, especially if you are able to, or are prepared to, travel light:wink:. |

Tony, Lufthansa still allow you to take skis free provided they are within your baggage weight allowance (23kgs) http://www.lufthansa.com/uk/en/Ski-baggage-on-Lufthansa-flights |
