NOOOOOOOOO! four weeks ago? they were all updated last night. You should have waited. :( :( :(

Yes I hear what you are saying but.... my Macbook is only last Octobers model, so hardly out of date...... plus I got £200 off the price :D

And it is still far too smart for me :(

Warren Smith Ski Academy anyone?

I did a one day indoor slope course with WS. It was very intensive (I could hardly walk the next day). I did learn quite a bit about where I was going wrong though and I think their techniques and philosophy are good. They concentrate a lot on the mechanics of the body and certainly taught me to be more centred over my skis just with the one session.

I know I would not survive one of their week long courses (after my one day experience) but I am sure it is a good way to learn technique and correct bad habits.

I didn't much like either, to be honest. Very concrete and faked. Prefer something that has evolved. But thats my opinion....
Just about to book for Alpe d'Huez

I loved this resort. A good mix of old and new and everything within reach. Great skiing too. very jealous. We are looking to go back next season too. Enjoy.

But of course it's not how you use the pavement with your careful walking on rubber soled feet, avoiding the cracks just in case they're unlucky. It's that mad pavement jockey that comes up fast behind you on his irresponsible leather soles, that makes the wearing of a helmet sensible in the circumstances.

How do you know?
No pavements in your part of the world.
