Not much into jumps myself but definitely a cause-effect thing going on here, have you never been tempted to resolve this issue by choosing jumps with landings which are steep enough? If you buy the helmet I would expect a similar thread on using mountain bike knee pads to protect your ski knees from hitting your full face mountain bike helmet. Seems like you are route to be robo skier / all gear no idea.

Lake Passy, great for swimming and you can have a picnic as well.

Am afraid my painting skills are not up to much!
On a positive note, I don't really get the social element of skiing itself. Typically the faffing starts before you even arrive at the slopes and descends from there. Unless someone is super organized then it just isn't going to work. Much prefer to leave the socializing for after the skiing. |

Many thanks Dave, had suggested similar myself however:

Very sad and worrying to read Iceman's post. Am getting married in August with honeymoon over Christmas-NY (first two weeks skiing lost :-(). Working on a master plan to get in a decent amount of time on the slopes.

Definitely a welcome addition. Great news for the early birds who will be able to get in a few more runs on the sunny side of town before the mid morning rush.

Have never bought a property from them but they are a well established company for sale of high end properties. So any concerns should reflect norms of location & price vs. the company itself.

Whilst it is always nice to get in a few turns, have to say NZ skiing did not really do it for me. Onpiste skiing at least was very mediocre, very average terrain, tiny verticals and at least when I went the snow was so-so.
Now Argentina and Chile have a large appeal for me. Life can't get much better than sampling new world wines whilst ripping it up. |
