skiing and a bad knee

This was a good thread,I have been wondering about this too..the pain and how long after I will be able to do things. As most of you know I have been skiing on a injured torn knee (with an hinged knee brace) and the help of ibuprofen....I know Im nuts ..but I find skiing easier on my knee than walking )
p.s
I stay out of the deep powder, knee cant take that at the moment

I see the ortho surgeon next week to get MRI results...yikes!

Mike from NS wrote:As LM pointed out Mothers' Day over here is in May. My wife and I were married on the Saturday of the Mothers' day weekend -- long .. oh, so long ago. When I ordered the wedding flowers I included a big bunch for the "mother-in-law to be" which I of course presented to her at the wedding. Had to start off on the right foot!!

And besides, it made my wife's brothers look bad, or so they told me....   .

Really like them.
:-)

I have four pairs of those. They are so well fitted that I sometimes wear them under jeans, which would normally be uncomfortable with fleece. I really lucked out and bought four pairs at T J Max four years ago for $15 a pair :D

They are great ,you did get a good price Trencher.
I wear mine under my riding breeches and chaps in the winter..they are thin enough.
They are too warm now though,I wore my thin thermals yesterday skiing...and was still hot!

To be honest, I think its a bad idea to go when the olympics are on as well, but my other half has her heart set on it. She is already planning dog sled rides, snowmobiles and a Vancouver add-on, that you don't seem to be able to do in Europe (especially the Vancouver bit ;-) ).

On the other hand, if I point out that it will be around 800% more expensive at that time, perhaps I can change her mind. Wish me luck!

You can do all that at sunpeaks. Check the website )
http://www.sunpeaksresort.com/activities/winter.aspx
Than you could rent a car and drive to Vancouver-only 4 hours away.
