Glad you have good snow mate ...Enjoy :D
Didn't hear anyone next door it is mainly people stomping up the stairs ....
Top area ...Great skiing
I have to post this about the prices in Val Thorens ... what a disgrace, Little W had chips for lunch €6 washed down with a small apple juice €4, at the end of the day Mrs W brought me a pint which I did not particularly want €8.
I really can't remember what I had for lunch as I am still traumatised by the obscene prices being charged ....
The snow was so much better in VT than what we had been skiing in Sauze, But I really think Val Thorens architecture is possible the worst blot on the landscape closly followed by Avoriaz & Flaine and if I never set foot on there again it will be too soon.

There was a mention on earlier posts about the quality of the The Hotel Sauze, Hetel and rooms were of a good standard the hotel food was very good and was a vast improvement on last years Hotel Gran baita in Folgarida ......
One mention although it did not effect my sleep was the hotel room walls were on the thin side ... Any Questions

Even Mr Optimistic Google maps says 1 hour 35 from the airport. If/when we get snow I will let you know how long it takes to get from my house (near airport)to Chatel. I will push Extra hard to see if I can get near 95 minutes.

Don't you push too hard Judder ..... no damage to you or your vehicle is required pre season to prove a point .... Bon Sci -)
