Looking forward to ......hiking, cycling, sightseeing, maybe some bowling, oooohhhh, and maybe a nice ride in a gondola to the top of a mountain and back. Is there a swimming pool as that would be nice....

What else can we all do mid Dec

I do hope it isn't nearly Christmas, I still have one more grass cut to do......

Bugger, you just reminded me I have to go in the garden and put the bbq away ( we used it on Nov 5th cos it was so warm) but as soon as Mrs TP sees me out there I will have to sweep all the leaves AND probably mow the lawn.

At least I can do it in my short's )

Is there a nice open air pool in Chamonix? what about a Golf course or any thing else to do in 15 degrees heat, maybe it will warm up a little more so Mrs TP can sunbathe.

What's happening with the weather, 14 day forecast in the Alps is positively spring like.

I am an optimist I really am but COME ON ! Really? Its nearly December and all is greeny brown still

Any reasurrance is welcome

I owe my learning to ski at the swad dry slope as it is down the road from me ( Leicester ) but haven't been back since I "hit the hills"

Great for learning the basics, great for breaking thumbs ( I did ) but once done can be a little repetitive as can be the Snowdome at Tamworth.

Snapzzz, we are neighbours :)
