Did you go over to Montgenevre? I have always been drawn to this resort but not really sure why.

Ditto this.
Don't be afraid, once you build up your confidence - especially where spotting is concerned - there will be no stopping you! :-)

The two milestones for me was learning to stop at speed and getting into the habit of leaning forward and attacking the slope rather than just slipping along. Master that and you have a solid foundation to progress with.

Hi Roger,

I can't give you much assistance with restaurants as we eat in a lot and only occasionally visit mountain eateries at lunch time.
However we went to Flaine the other year and really liked the whole area and i will return sometime soon.

My fav run of the area was probably the Marvel piste in the Morillon sector which is only a green run. I loved it so much because it is long and winds through some beautiful woodland and enabled me to Ski with my daughter for some distance. She is a beginner so it was perfect for her.

I need to remember to have an end of season tune with him and then a prep tune before skiing, rather than going in for one major tune with rust and mucky skis

Im not sure if i read somewhere that Jon (or it could be someone else) won't touch rusty ski's as it shows apathy and disrespect on your part to your kit. :( :(
I always take mine for an EoS tune and to have storage wax applied. My next visit will be just a scrape and brush, which sounds like a job for a gynecologist
