That's it so far!!

Drinks bladders always seem to make me laugh ...... are you too tight to buy a drink in a restaurant ? 8)

Wickers you can put what you want into the bladder -)

Anyway, they are very useful if you are skiing away from high traffic areas, after all restaurants only get built if there are enough skiers passing to make a profit.
Another reason Chamonix scores well, is the large number of transfer options. Minibus operator is the most economical with a shared seat at between 25-30 Euros each way. They do only take an hour once they get onto the Autoroute, I've done the trip.
Too soon?!!!

Welcome to J2ski :D I've had some Fritschi's for several years, and found them to be solid and reliable both downhill and uphill. With Fritschi's it's important to purchase the correct size for your Boots, and get the smallest one possible.
You can switch from uphill to downhill mode without removing the ski, which is handy for short bits of downhill.

Many of the competitors need you to remove the ski to access the binding when you've finished your ascent. Make sure you get a brake that is wide enough, consider investing in the return spring on the Fritschis, and decide if you want to fit the ski crampons that are available.

Dukes are sooo expensive and the DIN is really high too!

Most touring bindings raise you up from the ski, unless you go minimalist aka Dynafit/Plum .

Have to agree with VSB and Ranchero, it's a fast road from Geneva, and the town is well geared up for short stays and long weekend guests.

Or they have the oppertunity to make mega bucks

Right now, Swiss mountain resorts have just had one source of income seriously restricted under Lex Weber which takes effect in January 2013. There have already been redundancies. Projects will probably take longer and need more loans.

Making ends meet, might be more appropriate.
