Hi all,
Looking at the boots and the manual I would say they are definatly adjustable. When looking inside it does look like a rivet but it is not the same as the one on the other side of the boot. There is no screw on the inside. Both boots have this adjustment set differently and the resulting angle of the cuff section matches that in the manual so I am convinced they can be adjusted, just no idea how. As for the model, well I have looked online and u cannot find a match to the info I have. On the boot it says m+ Alu (mega+ ???) and on the decathlon tag it says Ativa Alu 09. A google search of this brings up precious little. |

Guys,
Today my wife picked up a new pair of Ski boots from our local Decathlon store. They were only £50 so whilst i know they were not fitted properly i figure that as long is she is happy/comfy then we haven't really lost anything if she decides they are not for her after one season. I mean it's 40 euros to hire, so whats to loose? Anyhow, they are 2009 Technicas and at close look the Canting is set in different positions on each boot. One is central and the other is leaning outwards. Without the knowledge to decide what is the best for her i am thinking that it would be best to at least make sure both boots are set at the same position. The Technica manual gives three possible settings. The problem is that it shows you the position the dial should be in for each of the three settings (A,B,C) but does not tell you how to actually achieve it.!!!! Here is a pic of the canting adjustment knobby thingy.....can you tell me how i adjust? Many thanks
Ps....there is no screw/allen inside the boot. |

Downright miserable with a gloomy outlook here in Nottingham.
